“These machines made the JCA of Jacksonville Florida more welcoming!”
The UE8PRO Upper Body Ergometer is one of the best machines of 2022. Majority of health club goers are overtraining with machines that target the lower extremities to complete their cardiovascular workouts. They are forgetting or neglecting the importance of upper extremity cardio-based workouts. Not to mention, the biomechanical injury prevention advantages when using the enhanced balanced power training mode for the shoulder and scapular stabilizers. Add that to the amazing benefit the T6MAX Recumbent Cross Trainer adds to anyone that is dealing with spinal or lower extremities injury, which study shows that is over 80% of Americans.
Definitely those two machines made the JCA of Jacksonville Florida way more welcoming, especially to members with accessibility challenge and on motorized scooters since our PTs no longer need to move the member from there to the machine seat. If you want to set your club apart by caring and serving all, then those machines are for you!
Congratulations NuStep for another brilliant design that improves the health and wellbeing of millions!

“It helps relieve stress, like if I had a bad day at school.”
Aim High School in Whitmore Lake, Michigan is using two NuStep® T4r recumbent cross trainers as part of their curriculum for the 2013/2014 school year. Aim High is an alternative educational model that supports students who struggle in a large public school. Many of these students are on the Autism spectrum and benefit greatly from a curriculum and environment built for their needs.

“Our residents absolutely love them.”
Carlyle Place, Navicent Health is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Macon, Georgia. We have had two NuSteps in our Exercise Equipment Room since Carlyle Place opened in September 2001. Our seniors exercise with these machines because they love them! NuStep cross trainers provide a great workout that is easy on their joints. Our only problem with the NuSteps has been the limited number available in our facility! Therefore, when an opportunity recently became available to expand our fitness space, two additional NuSteps were on the very top of our “Needed Equipment” list.
I began working with Brenda Richardson, an amazing NuStep Active Living Consultant, to determine which model would be best for our clientele. After discussing our options, we selected the T5XR with oversized seats. They were delivered and installed at the beginning of March (2015), and our residents absolutely love them! These NuSteps are very user-friendly, from the easy-to-see electronic display to the adjustable seats and handles.
We would certainly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a sturdy piece of equipment that provides a great total body workout. It is a nice walking alternative for seniors, especially those who are recovering from knee or hip surgery or cardiac and pulmonary complications. But, don’t be fooled—these machines are also great for people in good physical shape, who are interested in incorporating variety into a new or existing workout.

“It’s just an overall great piece of equipment.”
I love sharing the NuStep because I genuinely love using it! It’s my #1 source of cardio, and I love that it is a cross-pattern trainer so it helps make that mind-to-body connection. And I love how universal it is. At NextStep Orlando, we use it with all our clients, not just Spinal Cord Injuries. Even abled bodies can use it. It’s just an overall great piece of equipment. Plus, I love the team at NuStep, they’ve always been super supportive of me so I like to reciprocate the support!

“The best piece of equipment I own.”
I purchased this product in the Spring of 2006 for my Anytime Fitness health club, based off a recommendation from our local hospital’s P.T. Department.
It has probably been the best piece of equipment I own. Especially for cardiac rehab, hip and knee replacements, obesity and the elderly.
People can transition from physical therapy to an independent program on their own.
Awesome for membership sales as well.

“I have found the NuStep machine invaluable.”
Honestly, I couldn’t do cardiac rehabilitation without the NuStep. In my experience I have found the NuStep machine invaluable.
Many, many times the NuStep machine was the only piece of equipment a patient could exercise on due to orthopedic limitations.
Without the NuStep in my cardiac rehab gym I wouldn’t have been able to help these particular patients regain their vitality and quality of life.

“We’ve been really encouraged to hear the success stories.”
As we’ve expanded the use of the NuStep to the broader community, we’ve been really encouraged to hear the success stories of our participants and we’re really excited to see where this going take us in the future.
We’re really excited to see what it can do for the rest of the community in the future. We’ve been very, very fortunate to have it here in the building and hopefully, if given the opportunity, we’d like to help more people through using the NuStep.

“Sometimes it’s the patient who educates the physical therapist.”
A case in point is my client Gail, a retired occupational therapist who encouraged me to purchase a NuStep for my physical therapy practice.
Gail used the NuStep at home and frequently reported that the machine played a major role in getting her stronger. She was persistent in her encouragement for me to purchase a NuStep for my clinic, and her enthusiasm eventually won me over.
Gail “NuStepped” twice a day at home. Even with MS, she was improving daily. Based on her terrific results, I purchased a NuStep for use by my patients in the clinic.
I quickly observed that the NuStep is unique, due to the variable resistance, ease of seat mobility, custom set-up features, and natural movement.
Having the NuStep in our clinic, we’ve noticed that our outcomes are much better, and our manual therapy treatments are more effective.
With the NuStep, this patient is safe and able to (for the first time) engage the hip and knee stabilizers without strain to the cartilage or risk falling.
I am grateful that my patient (Gail) led me to the NuStep. It was her personal recommendation that had a powerful effect on me, and her physical improvements sealed the deal.
Now the machine is our MVP!
